The GEL-Cumulus^® 10 features ASICS Impact Guidance System (I.G.S.^®). I.G.S.^® linked componentry which is ASICS top technology, working to enhance the foot's natural gait, while Solyte^® Midsole material and GEL^® Cushioning System will add comfort and support. A Gender Specific Fit is accomplished by the Space Trusstic System™ which recognizes the normal periodic changes in the shape of the woman's arch and provides for the controlled deformation of the arch into the space within the System.

Biomorphic fit provides superior fit and function while decreasing the potential for irritation. P.H.F.^® heel collar molds to athletes heel, creating a personalized fit. An Asymmetrical Lacing System enhances the Biomorphic Fit by conforming to the bony architecture of the foot. 3M Reflective Material enhances visibility during low light hours increasing safety.

Sole

Solyte™ midsole is a lighter material than both ASICS' standard EVA or SpEVA^® with improved cushioning and durability. Solyte™ 45 Last Construction enhances try-on comfort and long-lasting feel by employing ASICS' new proprietary Soltye™ Midsole Material. Impact Guidance System (I.G.S.^®) links components to enhance the foot's natural gait from heel strike to toe off. Space Trusstic System™ is an advanced system that creates a pocket between the Trusstic System™ device and midsole, allowing for greater midsole deformation and more efficient foot function. ComforDry™ insole provides the optimum cushioning performance system that creates a cooler, drier, healthier shoe environment. The "Twist" GEL^® Cushioning System enhances shock attenuation and allows for improved toe-off position. The AHAR^® heel plug, ASICS High Abrasion Resistant rubber, provides increased durability in critical areas of the heel. DuraSponge^® is a blown AHAR^® rubber compound that enhances cushioning and durability in the forefoot.
